General

A: Yes! We are now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

A: Not yet. Right now, we are working on the logistics of starting the business including obtaining our raising start-up funds and building an inventory of gowns. We also don’t want to open a store with Covid-19 presenting so many additional difficulties. Right now, we are hoping to open a storefront in early 2022.

A: The sale of these dresses helps fund services at the Table to Table Community of New Jersey. These services include picking up fresh, healthy food that otherwise would be thrown out and delivering it safely to soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and places that serve meals to the hungry. Table to Table can provide up to 10 meals for each dollar donated. That means that each dress purchased feeds a family of 5 for months.

A: Absolutely! Right now, we need help with logistics including photoshoots and small business accounting. When we open our store, we will need lots of volunteers to help sell the dresses to future brides! See our volunteer page for more information.

Donations

A: You can drop the dress off in a box or bag with a donation form. See our dress donations page for the address.

A: You can ship the dress after filling out a donation form. The cost of shipping is tax deductible. See our dress donations page for more information.

A: It would really be appreciated if you could have your gown cleaned before donating it. Otherwise, we would prefer to receive the donation as is rather than not at all.

A: Yes! We will happily accept any lightly used veils, shoes, belts, jackets, headpieces, jewelry, purses and gloves.

A: At this time, we are only accepting wedding gowns.

A: If dresses do not sell at the original price, we may offer the gown at a further discounted rate. If a dress still cannot sell we may donate it to another similar organization .

A: Yes, due to our 501(c)(3) status, all donations are tax deductible. After donating, you will receive a tax letter or receipt.

A: Absolutely! We are currently trying to raise $45,000 to open a store. See our donations page to make a monetary donation. Your donation is tax deductable!

Appointments

A: No. Currently, we are not taking appointments. Some limited appointments may become available even before we have a storefront. If you are interested in trying on dresses fill out your name and email on our appointments page.

A: Our dresses generally range from $99 to $1200 with a few below or above this range. The average cost of our dresses is $750.

A: Yes! We sell veils, shoes, belts, jackets, headpieces, jewelry, purses and gloves.

A: Unfortunately, no. Our stock changes too often to maintain online. We do post some photos of donated gowns on our Facebook and Instagram pages. If you are looking for something specific, please call or email us with what you are looking for, and we will get back to you.
